Craniopharyngioma

A rare, benign brain tumor that arises from remnants of Rathke's pouch, a structure involved in pituitary gland development. These tumors grow near the pituitary stalk and hypothalamus, often causing symptoms due to compression of surrounding brain structures. They are classified as Grade I by the World Health Organization (WHO).
