Cutaneous lymphocyte antigen
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002802
A carbohydrate-based cell surface molecule expressed on a subpopulation of T lymphocytes that mediates their homing to the skin. This antigen is recognized by specific antibodies and is involved in immune surveillance of the skin. Its expression is regulated by cytokines and other factors in the microenvironment.
