Lymphocyte subpopulation

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006834

A distinct group of lymphocytes characterized by specific cell surface markers, functional properties, and developmental pathways. Examples include T helper cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes, B cells, and natural killer cells. These subpopulations are identified using techniques like flow cytometry based on their unique protein expression.
