Daphnia magna reproduction test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002857
A standardized ecotoxicological assay that evaluates the effects of chemical substances on the reproductive output of the freshwater crustacean Daphnia magna. This test measures parameters such as the number of offspring produced per female over a specified exposure period. It is a common method for assessing chronic toxicity in aquatic environments.
