Derived characteristic
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003046
A predicted property of a chemical substance that depends on, or approximates, one of its fundamental properties together with the prevailing environmental conditions, such as an estimated environmental half-life or soil sorption behavior. It contrasts with a fundamental property such as molar mass, which does not depend on environmental conditions.
