Distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003338
A nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy pulse sequence designed to enhance the signals of carbon-13 nuclei and differentiate between CH, CH2, and CH3 groups. It achieves this by transferring polarization from protons to carbons, leading to increased sensitivity. The technique provides information on the number of attached protons for each carbon.
