Druggability

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003452

The likelihood that a given biological target can be modulated by a small molecule drug with acceptable potency and selectivity. This concept assesses the feasibility of developing a drug against a specific protein or pathway. Factors influencing druggability include the presence of binding pockets and the target's role in disease pathology.
