Ectopia

The displacement or abnormal positioning of an organ or tissue from its normal anatomical location. This condition can be congenital, resulting from developmental errors, or acquired due to trauma or disease. An example is an ectopic pregnancy, where a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus.
