Electron beam curing

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003708

A process of cross-linking or polymerizing a material by exposing it to a beam of high-energy electrons. The electrons initiate radical or ionic reactions within the polymer, leading to the formation of a network structure and hardening of the material. This method offers rapid curing at room temperature without the need for photoinitiators or heat, making it suitable for heat-sensitive substrates.
