Thermal curing
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011936
A process where a polymer or resin undergoes cross-linking or polymerization reactions initiated and driven by heat. This results in the formation of a more rigid, three-dimensional network structure. Thermal curing is commonly used for thermosetting polymers, leading to materials with enhanced mechanical and thermal properties.
