Photochemical curing

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008817

A process of hardening or crosslinking a polymeric material through exposure to light, typically ultraviolet or visible radiation. This method initiates polymerization or crosslinking reactions via photoinitiators, leading to the formation of a solid network. Photochemical curing offers rapid processing times and is widely used in coatings, adhesives, and 3D printing.
