Photocrosslinking
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008834
The formation of covalent bonds between polymer chains or between molecules upon irradiation with light. This process typically involves the generation of reactive species, such as radicals, that initiate the crosslinking reaction. Photocrosslinking is widely used in the curing of resins, lithography, and the fabrication of hydrogels.
