Photosensitive polymer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008924

A polymeric material that undergoes a chemical or physical change when exposed to electromagnetic radiation, typically ultraviolet or visible light. This change can involve crosslinking, degradation, or a modification in solubility, allowing for selective patterning. These polymers are widely used in applications such as photolithography, 3D printing, and the creation of optical recording media.
