Molecular shape
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007516
The three-dimensional arrangement of atoms within a molecule, determined by bond lengths, bond angles, and torsional angles. This spatial configuration influences a molecule's physical and chemical properties, including its reactivity and ability to interact with other molecules. The VSEPR theory is commonly used to predict the geometry of simple molecules.
