Enemas

Pharmaceutical preparations administered into the rectum, typically in liquid form, for local or systemic therapeutic effects. They are used to evacuate the bowel, deliver medication, or provide diagnostic imaging. The volume of an enema can range from a few milliliters for drug delivery to several hundred milliliters for bowel cleansing.
