Enthalpy of immersion
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003956
The change in enthalpy that occurs when a solid is completely submerged in a liquid. This process involves the displacement of the solid's surface by the liquid, leading to interactions between the solid and liquid phases. It is typically measured in joules per mole or joules per unit area of the solid surface.
