Enthalpy of wetting
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003958
The change in enthalpy when a solid surface comes into contact with a liquid, resulting in the formation of a solid-liquid interface. This value reflects the energy associated with the interactions between the liquid and the solid surface. It is often expressed in joules per unit area of the wetted surface.
