Finite rate of increase
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004436
A measure of population growth over a discrete time interval, representing the multiplicative factor by which a population changes in size per unit of time. It is calculated as the ratio of the population size at the end of the interval to the population size at the beginning. A value greater than one indicates population growth.
