Fractal dimension

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004624

A statistical quantity that indicates how completely a fractal object fills the space it occupies, reflecting its complexity and irregularity. For a fractal agglomerate, it describes the relationship between its mass or size and its radius of gyration. This dimension is often non-integer and provides insight into the growth mechanism of aggregates.
