Fractional selectivity

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004630

The ratio of the rate of formation of a desired product to the sum of the rates of formation of all products, including undesired byproducts. This metric quantifies the efficiency of a chemical reaction in producing a specific compound over others. It is a key performance indicator in industrial chemical processes and catalysis.
