Height equivalent to a theoretical plate

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005157

A measure of the efficiency of a chromatographic column, representing the length of column required for one theoretical plate. A smaller value indicates a more efficient column, as it implies a greater number of theoretical plates for a given column length. This parameter is often expressed in millimeters or micrometers.
