High-performance liquid chromatography assay

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005298

An analytical technique that separates, identifies, and quantifies components in a mixture by pumping a pressurized liquid solvent containing the sample through a column packed with a solid adsorbent material. This method is widely used in chemistry, biochemistry, and pharmaceutical analysis for its precision and ability to analyze complex samples. The separation is based on differential partitioning between the stationary and mobile phases.
