Hypersusceptibility

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005528

An increased likelihood of an individual to develop an adverse health effect when exposed to a particular chemical or environmental agent. This heightened sensitivity can be due to genetic factors, pre-existing medical conditions, or previous exposures. It implies a lower threshold for toxicity compared to the general population.
