Hypertension

A medical condition characterized by persistently elevated arterial blood pressure, which places increased stress on the heart and blood vessels. This sustained high pressure can lead to serious health complications, including heart disease, stroke, and kidney damage. Blood pressure readings are typically considered hypertensive if they consistently exceed 140/90 mmHg.
