Hypoxic

Describing an environment or physiological state characterized by a reduced level of oxygen. This condition can occur at high altitudes, in poorly ventilated spaces, or within tissues experiencing compromised blood supply. Organisms exposed to hypoxic conditions often exhibit adaptive responses to cope with the oxygen deficit.
