Anoxia
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000648
A condition characterized by the complete absence of oxygen supply to an organ or tissue. This is a more severe form of hypoxia, which is a reduced oxygen supply. Prolonged anoxia can lead to irreversible cellular damage and tissue death, particularly in sensitive organs like the brain.
