Ideal adsorbed state
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005567
A theoretical model for adsorption where the adsorbed molecules do not interact with each other and are localized at specific sites on the surface. This state assumes that the adsorption energy is uniform across all sites and that there is no lateral interaction between adsorbed species. It forms the basis for simple adsorption isotherms like the Langmuir isotherm.
