In-needle capillary adsorption trap
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005879
A sample preparation device in which a capillary coated on its inner wall with a sorbent is placed inside a needle, so that sample is drawn through it in an in-tube extraction format. Analytes adsorb onto the coating, are then desorbed, for example thermally in a gas chromatograph injector, and are transferred to the instrument for separation and detection.
