Independent joint action
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005766
A type of combined effect where two or more substances act on different biological targets or through different mechanisms, and their combined effect is simply the sum of their individual effects. In this scenario, the substances do not interact synergistically or antagonistically. The overall response can be predicted by adding the effects of each component at their respective concentrations.
