Dual-mode photochromism
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003470
Photochromism in complex systems that can be triggered by either of two different external stimuli, for example light or an electric current. The photochromic and electrochromic responses regulate each other, so the system behaves as a combined photo- and electro-responsive switch rather than as a compound with two separate photochemical reactions.
