Dual viewing mode
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003468
A configuration in inductively coupled plasma (ICP) optical emission spectrometry where the plasma can be observed both axially (along the plasma channel) and radially (across the plasma). This allows for the measurement of both high and low concentration analytes within a single sample. Axial viewing provides higher sensitivity, while radial viewing offers a wider dynamic range and reduced matrix effects.
