Interspecies dose conversion
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005987
The process of adjusting a dose of a substance from one species to another to account for differences in physiology, metabolism, and body size. This adjustment aims to achieve an equivalent biological effect across species. Conversion factors are derived using allometric scaling based on body weight or surface area.
