Ion/neutral species exchange reaction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006133
A type of ion/molecule reaction where an atom or group of atoms is transferred between an ion and a neutral species. This process results in the formation of a new ion and a new neutral species. Such reactions are common in mass spectrometry and plasma chemistry, contributing to the overall chemical composition.
