Ion-pair chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006142
A chromatographic technique that separates ionic or ionizable compounds by forming neutral ion pairs with a counter-ion in the mobile phase. These neutral complexes then interact with the stationary phase, allowing for their separation. This method is frequently employed for the analysis of pharmaceuticals and biological molecules.
