Isoemissive point
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006183
A specific wavelength in a series of emission spectra where the emission intensity of two or more species is identical. This point indicates that the total concentration of the emitting species remains constant throughout a reaction or titration. The presence of an isoemissive point suggests a simple equilibrium between two components or a reaction with a fixed stoichiometry.
