Isoclinic point
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006172
A point in a family of absorption spectra, recorded as a reaction or titration proceeds, where every curve has the same slope, meaning the first derivative with respect to wavelength is common to them all. It is the first-derivative counterpart of the isosbestic point, where the absorbance itself is common to all curves.
