Isokinetic relationship
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006193
A linear relationship observed between the activation enthalpy and activation entropy for a series of related chemical reactions. This relationship implies that the activation free energy is constant at a specific temperature, known as the isokinetic temperature. It is a manifestation of the compensation effect in reaction kinetics.
