Isoequilibrium relationship
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006185
A linear relationship observed between the enthalpy and entropy changes for a series of related equilibrium processes. This relationship implies that the free energy change for these processes is constant at a specific temperature, known as the isoequilibrium temperature. It is a manifestation of the compensation effect in chemical equilibria.
