Isoselenocyanates
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006216
Organic compounds of the type RN=C=Se, in which selenium replaces the oxygen of an isocyanate or the sulfur of an isothiocyanate. They are commonly made from isocyanides and elemental selenium, and they are less stable than isothiocyanates, being sensitive to light and air. They react with amines to give selenoureas.
