Isotropisation temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006265
The temperature at which an anisotropic material, such as a liquid crystal polymer, transitions to an isotropic liquid phase. Above this temperature, the long-range orientational order of the molecules is lost, and the material behaves as a conventional liquid. This transition is typically reversible upon cooling.
