Ladder macromolecule
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006421
A macromolecule whose main chain consists of a sequence of rings joined in such a way that adjacent rings share two atoms. This creates a double-strand structure where the two strands are covalently linked at each repeating unit. These macromolecules typically possess high rigidity and thermal stability.
