  "definition": "A polymer made of single-strand or ladder macromolecules whose repeating units are isoindolobenzimidazole rings, in which an imidazole ring fused to a benzene ring is joined to a carbonyl-bearing five-membered ring. Such polymers are usually formed by condensing aromatic dianhydrides with aromatic tetraamines and are heat resistant. They are also called polybenzimidazopyrrolones.",
