Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006609
A method in surface analysis where a probe or detector is moved along a single line across a sample surface to acquire data. This technique generates a one-dimensional profile of a specific property, such as elemental concentration or topographic height, along the scanned path. It is often used to investigate variations across interfaces or features.
