Line representation of electrochemical cells

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006608

A symbolic notation that describes the components and interfaces of an electrochemical cell. It uses vertical lines to denote phase boundaries and double vertical lines for salt bridges, with the anode typically on the left and the cathode on the right. This representation provides a concise way to depict the cell's construction and the half-reactions occurring at each electrode.
