Litchfield method
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006701
A semigraphical way to analyze survival times, in which the cumulative percentage dead is plotted against time on logarithmic-probability paper and a fitted line gives the median lethal time, LT50. Litchfield published it in 1949 for time-percent effect curves. It differs from the Litchfield and Wilcoxon method, which estimates dose-based values such as LD50 from dose-response data.
