Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013262

A single curve representing the viscoelastic response of a polymer over an extended range of frequencies or times, constructed by shifting individual experimental curves obtained at different temperatures. This superposition principle, often achieved using the time-temperature superposition method, allows for the prediction of material behavior outside the experimentally accessible range. It is a key concept in the study of polymer rheology.
