Organ dose
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008306
The absorbed dose of radiation received by a specific organ or tissue within the body. This measurement quantifies the energy deposited per unit mass in that particular organ, expressed in grays (Gy). It is a key parameter in assessing the potential health effects of radiation exposure, as different organs have varying sensitivities to radiation.
