Paracrystalline distortion factor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008438
A quantitative measure that describes the extent of structural disorder within a paracrystalline material. It quantifies the average deviation of lattice points from their ideal positions in a paracrystal. This factor is typically derived from X-ray diffraction data and provides insight into the regularity of the polymer's crystalline domains.
