Peak width at base

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008576

The horizontal distance along the baseline between the two points where a chromatographic peak begins and ends, returning to the baseline. This measurement reflects the total time or volume over which an analyte elutes from a column. It is a parameter used in calculating column efficiency and resolution.
