Peak widths
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008578
A measure of the breadth of a chromatographic peak, indicating the dispersion of a solute as it passes through the column. It can be expressed as the width at half-height, the width at the base, or the standard deviation of the peak. Narrower peak widths correspond to higher chromatographic resolution.
